The THW as employer

The task of the Federal Agency for Technical Relief, or Technische Hilfswerk (THW), is to ensure civil protection and disaster relief. Every day at the THW, its staff are working to create impacts. There are some 2,100 paid employees working to support the volunteer operatives as they conduct their national and international operations.
